Track day at Bedford Autodrome 29 April 2000

words by Peter Crook

Organised by Maxtrack, this day was the first track day outing for three brand new 340R's including my newly painted and just run in yellow 340R.

Also in attendance were Ian Jamie and Andrew Smith in their cars.

Unbeknown to us this day was the regular haunt of the TVR club so we found ourselves  on our first trackday in unfamiliar cars in the company of 400bhp plus modified Cerbera's! (although there was a 911GT2 in our group piloted by the excessively quick and talented Richard Green)

My 340R on arrival (Just after the covers been pulled off - that's why its so clean). As usual there is a stunned member of the public thinking "What the hell is that !"

Myself, Ian Jamie and a couple of TVR enthusiasts ponder the beauty that is the Titanium Sports Exhaust.

Audio sounds good too - competition exhaust no cat.
